Entrepreneurship Programs
One of our core values at She-Empowers Initiative is to support Nigerian women-led businesses. Our training workshops last three days and focus on improving financial tracking methods and increasing clientele. We are starting with small groups of 5 female mentees, owners of small scale businesses (SSB), teaching them to differentiate themselves from competing businesses and specialize in their trade. Following the training, a six-month tracking program ensues where women receive micro-grants as they meet checkpoints (tracking finances, purchasing new tools).

Six-month Tracking Program
In order to ensure that the business women apply what they have learned during the trainings, our team supervises the SSBs through tracking and monitoring.
Education Programs
At She-Empowers, we are dedicated to support girls' education. Through our various programs, we sensitize communities on the importance of education and help girls from marginalized communities attend school.

Advocacy and Sensitization
Community Presentations
In Nigeria, 60% of unschooled children are girls as cultural stigma around the girl child's role continue to impede girls' education. Our team presented in various Nigerian communities to discuss the importance of girls' education to acquire knowledge and develop their potential.

Girls in Schools Program

Health and Sanitation in Schools
Period Poverty Program
Period poverty represents an important issue as women and girls across the globe continue to have insufficient access to menstrual products, education, and sanitation facilities. This six-month program will distribute pads to over 1,000 girls in Ungwun Makafi in Bauchi.

Girls for Growth (G4G) Clubs
We are launching Girls for Growth clubs in schools across Bauchi State--safe spaces where girls can come together to share their experiences, confront gender-based barriers, and turn their ambitions into action. Through weekly programming-- from sessions on sex education to vision board workshops--G4G clubs equip girls with skills in health, leadership, governance, and entrepreneurship, providing them with the support needed to shape their futures.
